Atlanta, Georgia (July 13, 2012)  - Kamaron Institute founder, Margaret Ross, today announced the organization’s cyber bullying prevention video has hit the ten-thousand views mark on YouTube.com.  Cyber bullying behaviors often escalate in summer since teens have more time on their hands. “To some teens, bullying behaviors appear to have fewer risks because they think that they attempt to remain anonymous.”

“We are delighted that the Kamaron Institute Cyber Bullying Prevention video has reached this viewing results level,” said Margaret Ross.  The executive leadership team at the institute plans to continue to produce and publish videos because they can reach a wider audience than written guides.

The Kamaron video program, entitled “Cyber Bullying Survival Guide,” provides parents, teachers and other caring professionals with a step-by-step process to protect their child and to take action in the event of cyber bullying. Cyber Bullying guide is located at http://kamaron.org/bullying-solutions.

“In its simplest form cyber bullying involves the use of Internet e-mail, instant messaging, chat rooms, pagers, cell phones, or other forms of information technology to deliberately and repeatedly hurt, taunt, ridicule, threaten or intimidate someone”, explains Ross.  She continues, “It may be summer vacation time, but cyber bullying never takes a vacation and can escalate when teens and tweens have extra time during the summer.”

The Kamaron Institute bullying prevention and  preemption programs are proven effective at raising awareness of bullying and its solutions. Schools earning their bullying prevention program certification through the Kamaron Institute Foundation experience a fifty percent decrease in bullying behaviors and class room distractions such as teasing, taunting, and ridiculing as measured in pre and post testing.

“Providing the replacement behaviors to bullying decreases discipline issues in classrooms and can cut bus bullying behaviors in half,” concludes Ross.
