Garden Grove, CA (Feb 23, 2005) Frank Verrill, President of Direct Mail production company Advanced Image Direct (“AID”), today announced his company is continuing to expand its production capabilities by recently adding (2) Continuous Form Laser Printers, bringing the company total to (6), all capable of Duplex Imaging along with (6) new inserters, bringing the company total to over (20). The Company is also nearing completion of Phase I of its new Web finish line, personalization system. The new system is over 180 feet long and growing. It is capable of duplex personalizing, UV coating, perfing, scoring, pattern gluing, die cutting and sorting up to 1 million pieces of direct mail per 24 hours. This new system is unique to the West Coast and is a compilation of several equipment manufacturers, whose engineers have worked with each other to produce this truly one of a kind production platform. This new Web based application is a perfect compliment to AID’s (3) Millennium systems, which also continue to produce non-traditional direct mail solutions with extensive personalization capabilities and operate from a sheet fed environment, with high output production volume capability.
All the new hardware compliments AID’s vast direct mail resources and existing equipment between its two facilities in Orange County. Coupled with all the new iron on the floor, AID has also added two new Software engineers, Mark DeSimone and Norm Ong. Norm and Mark will be charged with Web and automation applications for AID customers.
As leaders in the industry, AID provides Direct Marketers the most varied and unique direct mail solutions available today.
