Elevate Church OKC Announces the Kick Off of Elevate Groups Summer Semester

Moore, Oklahoma/May 28, 2012 – Elevate Family Church in Oklahoma City,  today announced the kickoff of Elevate Groups for the summer semester.  The groups will meet for a six week semester which begins on the week of June 4th and ends on the week of July 9th.  The community is expecting a large turnout as the spring semester group reached more than one-hundred participants.

Elevate Church in Oklahoma City hosts the groups with the simple goal of bringing people together so they can make new friends, meet new people and grow closer as God’s family.  Participants who are interested in joining a group are encouraged to visit this this link http://www.elevatechurchokc.com/small-groups to sign-up and read more about the adventure ahead. 

Natalie Chronister, coordinator of the small groups program, says, “Elevate Groups are designed to be small enough so that everyone can get to know one another and large enough for each participant to grow, learn, have fun, and build healthy new relationships.  The groups consist of 12-15 people for each meeting, which is a perfect size for any gathering.  At Elevate, there is a different kind of small group for every kind of curiosity.  The group system is an integral part of Elevate Church in OKC.

As the church grows larger on Sundays, they also grow smaller groups which meet during the week.  Church leaders encourage everyone to be involved in a group on a weekly basis, and to participate and invite their friends to groups.

After serving Grace Baptist Church for 11 years, Pastor Steven Earp lead a small group of people to become the launch team for what would become Elevate Church OKC (http://elevatechurchokc.com).    Sunday, 9/18/2011, was set as the official launch date for Elevate Church.  For the first services at Elevate, over 300 people were in attendance.  The church has continued to grow within the community.  All are invited to join Elevate to see the difference it can make it their lives.
