Independent Insurance Adjuster - Sams & Associates Announces Team Growth and Promotions

Granite Bay, California, May 23, 2012 - Sams & Associates Inc., the leader in providing quality, consistency and timeliness in independent claims handling, has managed to grow and stay busy in one of the most difficult economies our country has ever seen.  Their continued commitment to quality, professionalism and customer service drives their ongoing success.  In response to their growth and to prepare for their continued expansion they have made some changes and additions to their management team.
 
Chet Davis has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Sams & Associates.  Chet brings with him 20 years of claims handling experience.  His career includes a term as Regional Manager over four western states at AIG and as Vice President of Claims for Travelers Insurance Companies before joining the Sams team.  Over the last couple of years Chet has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a real knack for problem solving.   He has an excellent grasp of the vision to grow Sams & Associates and his abilities in identifying new team members are unsurpassed.
 
Jean Britz has been promoted to Vice President of Claims Services.  Jean will be responsible for the overall management of the claims service representative team.  Jean has been with the company for over 8 years and has displayed not only a strong understanding of the business and the needs of their clients but has the leadership qualities that have made their claims service representative team the best in the business.  Her knowledge and expertise has built a team absolutely dedicated to quality control to meet and exceed their clients’ needs.
 
Geoff Jolliff has been promoted to Claims Logistics Manager.  His numerous areas of responsibility will include the catastrophe team, quality control audits, file review and ongoing adjuster training.  Geoff developed his career through his ability to adapt and fill many different roles.  During his time with Farmers Insurance and AAA, he handled claims at all levels including CAT, managed vendor programs, created training programs and filled in for management.  His concentrated understanding of Xactimate will be invaluable in ensuring Sams’ clients receive the best possible claims product.
 
Bob Lund will continue in his duties as Chief Operating Officer.  Bob has been with Sams for over 17 years and has been an integral part of their growth and success.  In addition to his duties as COO, Bob has held almost ever position at Sams & Associates throughout his career.  Bob is also the manager for our fraud prevention and private investigation company, Sams Investigations Unlimited, Inc.  His innovation and commitment to keeping Sams on the cutting edge provides Sams with yet another competitive edge in their market.
 
Steve Anderson will continue in his role as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  After successfully operating his own adjusting company for nineteen years, Anderson Claims Service, Inc. was purchased by and merged with Sams & Associates in 2008.  Steve has experience in all phases of adjusting, TPA administration, fraud investigation, Workers Compensation, and claims training and certification. Steve’s ability to form and grow industry relationships is without peer and his extensive claims experience helps to establish Sams & Associates as the singular authority in claims handling.
 
Don Sams will continue as President of Sams & Associates and will spend the majority his time doing what has made his company the success story it is today - developing and affirming client relationships.  With his new team in place it will not only give Sams the opportunity to develop new business but it energizes their foundational commitment to quality and service that supports their future growth.
