Watch Repair Company Expands Into London & Reading

Family owned and run retail watch repair only company The WATCH Lab is to open its ninth branch in Reading Berkshire end June 2012. 

Trading from a central mall position, the bespoke repair ’Lab’ is fully equipped with tools and equipment to carry out most repairs on site and on the same day.  For major works such as servicing and restoration, customers watches are sent onto their Head Office to be dealt with by their team of experienced Watchmakers and Technicians.

Started in 2000, the company is owned and run by two brothers Jonathan and Jeremy Barker.  The first Watch Lab was in Liverpool and last year company they moved 200 miles south to open ’Labs’ in Lakeside Shopping Centre Essex and in Brent Cross London.  Reading branch in Oracle Shopping Centre is the company’s third branch in the southeast.

All brands of all ages are repaired at The WATCH Lab.  They repair everything from Rolex to Timex, all the high end brands to all the fashion timepieces.  Watch repairs carried out on the same day at Watch Lab branches include battery replacement, reseal and testing for water resistance of all brands including Tag Heuer, Omega, Longines and Gucci. 

Other watch repairs include cleaning & valeting, bracelet repairs, replacement manufacturer components, straps, new glass, winders and restoration of vintage watches.All types of watches are repaired also.  These include quartz battery powered, automatic, mechanical wind-up, Ecodrive, Kinetic, LCD, auto-quartz, pocket watches and radio controlled wristwatches. 

Finally The WATCH Lab offers a free estimate, advice and assessment service plus of course guarantee of workmanship.
