Stratford University opens new branch campus in Newport News, Virginia

FALLS CHURCH, VIRGINIA – (May 14, 2012) – Stratford University is opening a new branch campus in Newport News, Va. at 836 J. Clyde Morris Boulevard on May 21, 2012. The 63,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility features 19 classrooms, a large auditorium, computer and health science labs, a learning resource center, student break-areas, student guidance and counseling rooms, faculty offices, and modern administrative areas.
 
As one of the newest colleges in Newport News, Stratford will offer master’s degrees in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Telecommunications, Business Administration, and International Hospitality Management; bachelor degrees in Information Technology, Hospitality Management, Culinary Management, and Health Care Administration & Management; and associate degrees in Business Administration, Hotel/Restaurant Management, Baking and Pastry Arts, Advanced Culinary Arts, Pharmacy Technician, and Medical Assisting.
 
Stratford University is recognized as a military-friendly school, a member of the Services Members Opportunities College (SOC) program, and a participant in the Yellow Ribbon program. Stratford’s Military Student Office (MSO) is a one-stop-shop committed to supporting active and former military personnel complete their education quickly and efficiently. The MSO helps military students select their best benefit options, such as comparing Montgomery and Post-9/11 GI Bills; navigate the VA and TA systems; and complete benefit request forms.
