eBook prices get even better at BooksOnBoard with new Refer-A-Friend Rewards Dollars. Referring customers and their friends get 10% back in Rewards on all eligible purchases for the rest of April.“BooksOnBoard strives to provide readers with the best--and most rewarding--ebook purchasing and reading experience possible,” stated Bob LiVolsi, founder and CEO of BooksOnBoard. “With the Refer-A-Friend program, our customers will have the opportunity to receive more rewards than ever before.”

Established BooksOnBoard customers can find the “Refer a Friend” tab on the main screen of their “My Account” page. There, they can enter the name and email address of a reading enthusiast whom they think will appreciate what BooksOnBoard has to offer--and reap rewards, themselves.

Submitting a friend’s email address does not register them for an account; it merely sends a referral email containing a link that, when clicked, will guide the friend through the process of registering an account at BooksOnBoard. Once registered, they can take advantage of the competitive prices and endless promotions that BooksOnBoard offers its customers. This is when the person who referred them profits: “Every time this new customer makes a purchase between the day they register and the end of April, the one who referred them will be paid ten percent of each purchase’s total in BooksOnBoad Rewards Dollars,” LiVolsi explained.

BooksOnBoard Rewards Dollars are also given to the readers who make the purchases, which means these transactions are beneficial for the new customers as well as for those who refer them.

If you do refer a friend, BooksOnBoard recommends that you keep an eye on your email inbox; an email will be sent out once a week to those whose friends have made a purchase. The email’s subject line will read, “You just got paid!”, and will inform the reader how many Rewards Dollars they’ve received that week. Those Rewards Dollars can then be used to purchase eligible ebook and audio book titles, bulking up readers’ bookshelves without draining their wallets.

“We believe that reading is a rewarding experience--and the process of purchasing ebooks should be equally rewarding,” LiVolsi concluded.BooksOnBoard is the largest independent online retailer of eBooks, with an inventory of approximately 500,000 unique titles. BooksOnBoard is also one of the largest retailers of downloadable Audio Books, and carries formats compatible with eBook Readers such as: Android devices, Kindle Fire, Apple iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Sony PRS-300 eBook Readers, Cybook Opus Pocket eBook Readers, Cybook Gen3 eBook Readers, and Astak EZReader Pocket Pro eBook Readers.
