Fine Artist Devin Cranes’ New Painting In Prestigious Art Auction by Cornette de Saint Cyr
Devin Cranes’ new painting, “Their Words Will Never Hurt Her Again” is part of the prestigious auction of French Pin-Up/Glamour Art by Maitre Pierre Cornette de Saint Cyr. The auction will be held at the world famous Crazy Horse in Paris, France on April 15th, 2012.
The multiple facets of Hollywood life, fashion and the popular fairytale Cinderella, inspire Cranes’ captivating painting. Crane unveils a dynamic image of sexuality and empowerment. This is Crane’s second time to be featured in Pierre Cornettes’ prestigious auction. Women and the ideas of sexuality and voyeurism permeate many of Cranes’ paintings. This painting in particular is one of his favorites because it manages to convey a strong social message and relevance while being flirty and painted in his high fashion stylistic approach. The Crazy Horse Paris features some of the worlds most talented and beautiful dancers. Crane is proud to have his painting hang amongst the esteemed collection of paintings, drawings and vintage luxury items offered in the auction. Crane has sought to change the perceptions of contemporary art. “In my paintings, I hope to seamlessly blend a highly personal style, dynamic narrative, while preserving the traditions of master artists of the past.” Crane is honored to once again have the opportunity to have his work exhibited in Paris. He has recently taken Europe by storm and has successfully had numerous sold out collections in the last 2 years. The “jet set” crowd hails Cranes’ works as new and sophisticated while also capturing the seasoned collectors as well.
