The iPad 3 Tops over 3 Million Sales in 72 Hours: “We knew it’d do Well” Says The Snugg
After much speculation, the New iPad is flying of the shelves as The Snugg predicted; to the tune of 3 Million units in 3 days.
As the hype mounted and the rumour mill virtually collapsed under its own weight, Apple loyalists and technology fans alike were finally brought closure, with the official announcement that the New iPad would soon be shipping.
No sooner had the new iPad hit the shelves, they were flying off them again into the hands of keen early adopters. The Snugg’s Managing Director, Mr Richard Mercer, stated:

At the moment, the New iPad is only available in 12 countries, but it will be available in a further 24 towards the end of March.
“With the same price point as the iPad to on its launch day at £399, it would appear that the price tag hasn’t put anyone off, although, for those looking for the Wi-Fi, 64GB model with 4G connectivity, they’ll have to stump up a total of £659; although this shouldn’t be much of a problem for people in the UK since we won’t be 4G enabled until 2013” says Mr Mercer.
What really sets the New iPad apart from the others however, is the new high resolution screen with greater colour saturation. The result, combined with the faster processing power, means that games like Infinity Blade and HD videos and movies will be sharper and more breath taking than ever before.
“The iPad is ultimately, a media consumption and entertainment device, any adjustments that make that experience more brilliant and interactive, are bound to go down a treat. It’s not quite the ground breaking change many expected, but I think many people underestimate the gravity of such a change until they’ve experienced the new screen for themselves” states Mr Mercer.

“With the upgraded features, comes some additional weight.
