Etiquette is defined as the rules of social, religious, or professional conduct. It is clear from this definition that adapted etiquette may mean different things to different people. For example, in Japan one cannot enter house wearing shoes used outside. Similar, one has to leave shoes in front of a mosque.
 
Etiquette makes our lives more orderly but also complicates it to a certain extent. Members of social, religious, or professional groups are obliged to behave in a certain manner, and if too many rules are broken such members can be expelled from a group.
