PasTest Listens to Users, Launches Brand New Website

Medical and Dentistry revision expert PasTest has launched a new website after asking for feedback from customers representative of its three million annual visitors.

The Cheshire-based company offers online revision, courses and books for medical and dental students and qualified doctors. Its website has consequently become an invaluable resource amongst students, medics and surgeons - so much so that the average user spends more than 27 hours a month on the site.

However, the firm realised the old website did not suitably showcase the wide range of rich multimedia revision services provided, such as podcasts, an iPhone app and video lectures.

After deciding to create a new design to improve the consumer experience, PasTest sought the opinion of their customers with extensive website usability testing, focus groups and questionnaires.

As a result, the website and MyPasTest, their eLearning portal - which can be found at http://www.pastest.co.uk - have been transformed with vibrant colours and fresh iconography.

In addition - in response to customer demand - a variety of new features have been added, including interactive online lectures, new iPhone, Android and BlackBerry HTML5 apps, podcasts and complete past papers.

Commenting on the launch of the new site, Hannah Brown explained that “the goals of the project have simply been to bring PasTest up to date with the changing needs of our customers, with a more engaging look and feel to the website, and additional features to make their lives easier”
