New Fly Fishing Directory Makes It Easier To Locate And Rate Businesses
Orangeville, ON February 21, 2012 -- PairoWoodies Web Consulting announces the launch of a new business directory aimed at the fly fishing industry, at http://about-flyfishing.com.
About Fly Fishing has been providing online resources including articles and information about the sport of fly fishing and the fly tying hobby since 2002. For the website’s tenth anniversary, website owner PairoWoodies decided to build and create one of, if not the largest directories for fly anglers, fly shop owners, fishing guides and others in the outdoor industry. The directory covers businesses and organizations throughout North America and presently has over ten thousand individual businesses and guiding services listed.
“It was a huge undertaking for us,” said Ian Scott, Team Partner and Editor of the website. “Locating all the fly fishing and outdoor related businesses, confirming as much as possible that they were still open for business, and giving each one their own listing was a major job. However, it gives anglers a way to locate fly fishing specific businesses, read the ratings by others of the business and provide their own feedback.”
When providing feedback, clients and customers of businesses may rate the business on a scale of 1 to 5, and provide their review of the service they received, their view of the quality of merchandise carried, or whatever their opinion may have been.
Future plans for the directory include expansion to include businesses outside of Canada and the United States. Presently, businesses in the directory can be located by either category or by the city they are located in.
Business owners may claim their listing to ensure accuracy of information and brand it with their own logo or image. Future expansion of features is being considered.
