George Webb Restaurant Opens Two New Franchise Locations

WEBWIRE

Milwaukee, WI — February 6, 2012 – George Webb Restaurants, a Wisconsin tradition for over 60 years, has opened two new franchise locations — one in Port Washington and one in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The spacious new Kenosha restaurant is conveniently located in the Kenosha Travel Plaza at I-94 and Highway 142 (exit 340/Burlington Road). The expressway location is one of the main stops for Wisconsin-Illinois travelers. The Kenosha Travel Plaza is a full truck stop with a drivers lounge. The new location has seating for 66 customers and is the second George Webb location in Kenosha.

The new Kenosha location features the first George Webb drive thru. “We want to make it easy for customers to enjoy George Webb’s fresh, made-to-order food, so we are featuring a convenient, full-menu, 24-hour drive thru,” said Paul Bhardwaj, owner of the new franchise. “And, of course, we also have a beautiful sit-down dining area and the traditional George Webb counter seating,” added Bhardwaj.

The Port Washington location replaces the former Port House restaurant. And in fact it’s the exact same location that George Webb occupied for twenty years at 1042 South Spring Street (Highway 32 just north of County Highway CC.)

Vicki Belongia, owner of two other George Webb Restaurant franchise locations, has decided to bring this great Wisconsin tradition back to the city of Port Washington. “I’m excited to open a George Webb Restaurant in Port Washington,” said Belongia. “The brand is stronger than ever, we have a commitment to using fresh, Wisconsin products, and we’ve broadened our menu to offer a great variety of meals at a tremendous value.”

Like all George Webb Restaurants, the new locations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering their famous breakfast menu around the clock. The menu also includes pub-style sandwiches and burgers, classic dinner platters, their award winning chili and many other items for lunch and dinner.
