Rottingdean Village announces itself to the world

Rottingdean Trades and Business Association has produced a new, attractive and up to date leaflet promoting everything the wonderful village has to offer. The leaflet has been published to coincide with the launch of the new website this month.

Village history and famous residents are briefly described together with a location map showing the location of 13 different places of interest in Rottingdean, including; the windmill, Beacon Hill Nature Reserve, The Elms and Kipling Gardens, The Green and village pond, North End House, St Margaret’s church, Our Lady of Lourdes church, The Grange gallery, museum and library, The Whiteway Centre, the Old Customs House, Rottingdean Terraces, The Gap, cliffs and undercliff, the beach and sea.

For the benefit of those who do not live in the village, the leaflet and website highlights eating & drinking establishments, shopping, professional services, the arts, local charities, Rottingdean Parish Council, annual events in Rottingdean, locations and most importantly, how to find us. 

Web links are provided throughout to help the reader with more information. Using these links, everyone with access to the internet can contact any shop, business or organisation in the village. Forms on the website give local businesses or organisations the facility to add, update or amended their listing, and for residents to send news items and pictures of interest. 

Rottingdean Trades and Business Association hopes that the leaflet will help people discover Rottingdean, and wish to learn more about the village by visiting, spend time there and use its many facilities and hopefully return time and again.
