Globally Recognized Entrepreneur and Mobile Operator Veteran Dr. Saad Al Barrak Joins Red Lambda’s Board of Directors
Orlando, FL – January 4, 2012 – Red Lambda, Inc., a software company transforming security and operational intelligence for “Big Data” IT and network infrastructures, today announced the appointment of Dr. Saad H. Al Barrak to the company’s board of directors.
Dr. Saad brings more than 30 years of experience as an IT and telecommunications leader, executive, and visionary. He is currently Chairman of ILA Co., a newly formed organization that provides venture investment as well as advisory and management services and is focused on emerging opportunities within the telecommunications and relevant technology sectors.
Previously, Dr. Saad was Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Zain Group. Under his leadership Zain grew from a regional operator with 500,000 subscribers to a mobile powerhouse with 75,000,000 subscribers across the Middle East and Africa generating $8.2 billion in annual revenues and 18X EBIDTA growths in 7 years. Prior to Zain, Dr. Saad was the Managing Director and General Manager of International Turnkey Systems (ITS), an IT systems integration and services company, where he grew revenues from $3M to over $100M in 5 years.
