Stress Relief by Doc Orman, M.D., a unique stress relief blog launched September 12, 2011, will be running a series of timely blog posts this week on how to cope with traffic jam stress.  The week leading up to Christmas is typically one of the busiest times of the year, not just for shopping, but also for traffic congestion, especially near popular shopping malls.

In an interview, Doc Orman said: “We’ve been running blog posts about how to cope with holiday stress regularly since the first week of November.  As the end of the year approaches, one hot area of demand has been for more information about how to deal with traffic jam stress, so we are very pleased to dedicate the entire upcoming week of posts, starting Monday, December 19th, to this very timely subject.”

According to Doc Orman, most people do not correctly understand what is causing their traffic jam stress to occur.  “Mostly, we’re accustomed to focusing only on the wrong-headed behavior of other drivers, but in truth there’s much, much more going on that we tend not to notice.  That’s what we’ll be focusing on in our three new blog posts this coming week,” he said.

Doc Orman also added that it’s not too late for people to download and read a free 32-page PDF ebook about how to reduce holiday stress, in general.  This ebook is posted on a special Facebook page, and its full title is “How To Have Less Stress And More Fun During The Holiday Season.”  This holiday stress relief resource is completely free and does not require an email or any other type of registration to obtain.

“More than 800 people have already  visited this page and have downloaded this free holiday stress e-book, even though there’s been very little publicity” commented Doc Orman.  “Not only does it help reduce stress during the holidays, but it also contains important information about how to cope with stress all year long as well.”
