SuperBoletería Sponsors Yale Alumni Service Corps Community-Building Efforts in Nicaragua

During the first week in December, SuperBoletería will donate 15% of its profits to the Yale Alumni Service Corps. In mid-March, sixty volunteers from the Yale Alumni Service Corps (YASC) along with the Council of Protestant Churches of Nicaragua (CEPAD) will travel to the small remote village of El Castillo in Matagalpa, Nicaragua to build homes, provide medical care, improve educational opportunities, and install water filters in the community.
“The donation we are giving to the Yale Alumni Service Corps will directly enhance the lives of El Castillo’s residents in countless ways,” said Crystal Astrachan, business development manager, SuperBoletería, who is also a board member of the Yale Alumni Service Corps and will travel to Nicaragua in March with the group. “These efforts will be invaluable to the locals as this will ensure safe drinking water and will improve the health and lives of hundreds of people.
