New Research Leads to Dynamic Space solutions that can increase Kitchen Storage Capacity by 55% Says Pinnacle KBB
In the average UK fitted kitchen, space tends to be fairly limited and so space-saving kitchen solutions have always been popular. With Housing turnover at its lowest for 40 years, what does it mean for you?
In the average UK fitted kitchen, space tends to be fairly limited and so space-saving kitchen solutions have always been popular. The latest releases of space-saving kitchen appliances are testament to this as home owners try to make the most of the space that they have available.
With conventional fitted kitchens however, it is quite common for much of the space to go unused, which is why Bespoke Fitted Kitchens are become increasingly popular.
Pinnacle KBB’s Managing Director, Mr Stuart Heyes, adds:
“Space has always been a problem, but it is becoming more noticeable. With the onset of the recession, many people who would have liked to have up-sized their homes were unable to do so and had to cope with the space that they had. In recent years we’ve seen a spate of television programs that encourage more creative home cooking and healthy eating and this means that many more people are buying additional appliances and kitchen accessories. Naturally, these items take up more space and it’s easy to forget your limits”.
Pinnacle KBB is an established supplier of Fitted Kitchens in Preston and has been catering for the needs of the locality for years. By working with kitchen manufacturers as far afield as Germany, they have been able to bring the most recent kitchen developments to their own showrooms for use within their own Custom Kitchen installations.
“Just recently, a study conducted by Blum noted that by implementing a fitted kitchen that makes use of their ‘Dynamic Space’ principle, customers could increase the amount of available space by almost 55% based upon average usage statistics. So for those home owners who are trapped by a lack of lending or for those that wish to improve the overall value of their home, such innovations in fitted kitchens are well worth a look” says Mr Heyes.
The Blum dynamic space principle makes use of hard to access corners and the spaces around appliances to maximise space to the greatest extent possible.
“As well as implementing solutions like this as part of our fitted kitchens, we go to great lengths to ensure that our kitchens suit our customer’s requirements and space needs perfectly. Our Kitchen Planners make in-home visits and create CAD designs as part of the quotation process so that our kitchen designs fit our customers’ homes perfectly” adds Mr Heyes
Fitted kitchens are built to last and Blum build their fittings to last for at least 20 years; which is useful when you consider that the average time between moves has rocketed to 26 years. This has resulted in the lowest housing turnover in 40 years which has helped to maintain house prices because of their scarcity.
“It’s just as well that our kitchens are built to last. If anyone is looking to hang on to their home for as long as 26 years, it would be well worth their time to consider fitting a kitchen that will stand the test of time. A modern kitchen can also help you sell your home more quickly than competing homes in the area” States Mr Heyes.
