The five-day conference, which ended on November 17, addressed various topics concerning water, including emerging contaminants, microbiology, treatment techniques, source water protection, regulations, and laboratory methods.
The American Water Works Association (AWWA), a nonprofit association founded in 1881 that educates professionals about water safety, arranged the conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
