Los Angeles, CA, Nov 16th, 2011 – The Swedish born producer/artist Big Swede collaborates with British hit dance music producer Les Hemstock, on a 2011 version of the immensely popular 70’s TV theme, “Hawaii Five –0”. The single was released today as “Hi Five-0”, under the alias “Prune Bros”.

This is the first release from the Prune Bros and maybe not something you would normally expect, from these two producers. The track features Sweden’s rap/ragga master Papa Dee in a breakdown with police sirens, car chases and helicopters flying. “Les came up with the idea of having a rap section in the track and I thought it would be interesting to have Papa Dee’s Jamaican flavored voice in there”, explains Big Swede.

The track uses all electronic sounds and no orchestral instruments, as opposed to the original. “I wanted to use modern sounds playing the famous melody and incorporate new drums for the rhythm, but at the same time stay true to the original”, says Big Swede.

Les Hemstock was the producer behind the world wide platinum disc success Jive Bunny & the Mastermixers and a long list of dance music hits, as Hemstock and Jennings, culminating in his Top 20 hit collaboration “Nothing But You”, with Paul van Dyk.

Big Swede’s recent credits include: Mercedes Benz “Super Service” Commercial feat. Roger Federer, NCIS, CSI: Miami, MTV’s Cuff’d, tour introduction music for Van Halen and collaborations with Reeves Gabrels (David Bowie) and Greg Hampton (Alice Cooper).
