Dublin city centre backpacker hostel has made excellent improvements and reduced prices.

A Dublin City Centre backpacker hostel is really heightening competition for other hostels with their latest tactic. They have extended and improved but have decided to also make a reduction in prices. More dormitories have been added for groups of backpackers, along with more private rooms for couples and those looking for a little more privacy while travelling. The cheapest bed, in an ensuite room, was 15 Euro including breakfast, free internet and use of all the facilities. This price has now been reduced to 12 Euro, yet with all the same perks. Other improvements include a cinema room with free use of DVD’s, a games and music room, a hammock room and a new computer room.

According to the manager, ’We need to keep up with the times. People are really shopping around and looking for the best price possible. With new accommodations popping up around the city - we still need to prove we are the best. We want to keep maintaining and improving our standards yet still keep the customers, who are not only backpackers but couples and families, happy’, a source learnt.

It seems with new hostels and hotels emerging that competition is high but prices low, and simply must be dealt with by other hospitality businesses.  For more information go to www.abbey-court.com or call 01-8780700.
