Business Plan Workshop for Creative Entrepreneurs

WEBWIRE

Jacqueline Lloyd Smith, a lead facilitator with the STRATEGIC PLAY® Group Ltd., understands how important it is for entrepreneurs to plan their own success. On the evening of November 15, and all day on the 16th, she will be conducting an interactive workshop in Surrey, BC, where participants will create their own Right Brain Business Plan®.

The Right Brain Business Plan differs from the traditional plan in that it is highly imaginative and visual, allowing individuals to really see where their business is going. Creative individuals also find this method is less intimidating and allows them to remain focused.  “Most entrepreneurs don’t have a business plan or the one they have is outdated. Having a current business plan is extremely important to help you think through business problems and set goals,” said Jacqueline. “I find that many creative people like graphic artists, decorators, photographers, healing professionals, hate working on spread sheets, avoid doing research, and hate writing out these plans. This workshop has been designed for them. The brain needs a picture to think and this process helps visual learners make the most of their skills and talents in this process. And in this changing business environment, it only makes sense to have a plan that is agile and adaptable.”

Jacqueline is a lead trainer of facilitators with Strategic Play, based out of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Strategic Play designs visual, creative services and tools that enable organizations to improve performance. They also offer training in LEGO® Serious Play™, a method that utilizes 3D thinking and can be used to address a variety of issues in organizational performance.
