Pittsburgh SEO Company Launches Mobile Web Design Solutions

Pittsburgh SEO Company ProFromGo announced the launch of professional mobile web design services this week after more than 3 months in intense development.  The launch of this sector comes as the SEO services firm prepares to celebrate its 5 year anniversary.  

Chris Vendilli, founder of the firm, stated that the company’s mobile web design solutions segment was launched after significant consumer demand for websites that are designed for mobile users.

“Our client base in Pittsburgh and internationally has been clamoring for this service in the last few months after we reported that more than 50% of their website traffic came from mobile devices.  Instead of outsourcing this obvious need, we developed an application and a professional segment of our team to directly provide a complete solution for our clients – both current and future.”  

Vendilli founded ProFromGo nearly 5 years ago, and records show that he has been in the search engine optimization and internet marketing industry since the early 2000’s, when mobile versions of websites were virtually non-existent.  

However, some in the industry have expressed concern that most mobile devices can access a desktop version of a website easily.  But Ryan Neely, Chief Marketing Consultant of the Pittsburgh SEO firm disagreed:

"Have you ever tried to access a desktop site with a mobile device?  It’s extremely frustrating.”  

Neely produced a mobile device to demonstrate.

“Notice that you can’t see the entire site.  Using the site involves a lot of scrolling, and with today’s average web user being pretty fickle, that’s just not going to work.” Neely continued; "The general argument here is that most devices – especially the popular iPhones and Android devices, have the capability to zoom in and out on the screen to resolve this problem. However, if you try to zoom out far enough to see the entire site, just watch what happens.”

This reporter used an Android device to see what Neely was referring to and the answer was obvious.  By zooming out to see the entire website, the page became too small to click on any links.  But when zooming in to click on a link, most of the rest of the website disappears behind a scroll bar.

However, Vendilli stated that this wasn’t even the most useful feature of their mobile web design service.  

"It’s all about communication and bringing our clients together with their consumers.  If your customers can’t easily reach you, they’ll bounce away to your competitors.  Having a mobile version of your site allows your visitors to contact you by phone or email instantaneously – in a way that is even faster than if you were viewing the site on your desktop computer.”  

Considering the upward trend in new mobile users each year, it seems likely that the demand for mobile versions of websites is only going to increase.
