Remodeling Flooded Basements and Homes

Harrisburg, PA –  Tropical storms Irene and Lee combined to bring the worst flooding in recent memory to Central PA. This left many basements with standing water and mold and mildew problems. 
 
Recovering from and repairing flood damage is no small task.  Flooded basements contain potentially dangerous components such as furnaces, heating oil tanks, and washers and dryers.  Once the hazardous materials are removed and the area cleaned, homeowners are left with a shell of their former space.
 
But massive recent flooding may not spell total disaster for the hundreds of homes now needing repair.
 
Local real estate developer and home improvement company Triple Crown Corporation has recognized the difficulties flood victims face.
