Galway Downs International Three-Day Event & H.T.

Some of the world’s top riders will meet in Temecula at Galway Downs to challenge obstacles and compete for advancement on the road to Olympic glory. These riders are competing for a chance to go to London for the 2012 Olympics.

Course builder, Bert Wood, and world famous Designer, Ian Stark, have teamed up once again and developed a challenging course that will put these riders to the test. This will surely be an exciting event for both riders and spectators.

Galway Downs always hosts top notch equestrian events and this years event promises even more excitement as the 2012 Olympics approaches.

Truly memorable and challenging events start with the course design, and Ian Stark is one of the best. Ian’s builder, Bert Wood is a true innovator in his field. Bert uses lots of artificial plants, and especially the artificial boxwood brush to decorate his courses. “ By using artificial bushes, we save time and money, and are able on developing a truly challenging course, that at the same time looks great. ” Bert explained. “Also there is a safety factor, and we feel that the artificial boxwood bushes are the safest to use for our purposes, in the unfortunate event of a horse or rider fall. ”
