Teradata Selected By Libertad to Improve Operational Efficiency

DAYTON, Ohio – Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR), announced today that Libertad, owned by the France-based Groupe Casino, has selected the Teradata® warehouse, Teradata Retail Logical Data Model and professional consulting services. Libertad plans to deploy the Teradata enterprise data warehouse solution to improve the operational efficiency of its 40 multiformat chain stores located throughout Argentina, which include supermarkets, wholesale, fast food, home improvement and electronic goods.

Libertad will develop a central enterprise data warehouse with customer and operational data from across the enterprise, including merchandising, supply chain and procurement. From this single repository, Libertad will be able to leverage constantly-refreshed data to provide business intelligence to all business units.
