Jesus House Benefit Concert Scheduled for November 13, 2011

Moore, Oklahoma, October 13, 2011. The Jesus House of Oklahoma City is pleased to announce that a benefit concert will be held at the Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College Main Auditorium in Moore, Oklahoma on November13, 2011 at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.  The concert will feature performances by the Elevate Worship Band, the Zach Smith Band, the Hillsdale Chapel Bands, and the Drew McElhaney Trio.  The concert will also feature a special performance by the Hillsdale Drama Team.  The name of the event is “Worship Night 2011” and all proceeds of the concert will go to the Jesus House of Oklahoma City.  For advance ticket purchase information, contact the Jesus house at (405)232-7164. Rick Denny, the new Executive Director at the Jesus House, said, “We are very excited to team up with Hillsdale College, Elevate Church and a great list of area bands for a night of great music and fellowship to benefit the Jesus House.”  The Jesus House is an inner city, non-denominational, Christian outreach providing shelter, food and clothing to the homeless and poverty stricken of Oklahoma City.  The Jesus House shelter program specializes in services to the homeless who face issues with mental illness and addiction to drugs or alcohol.  Denny was recently hired by the new nine-member Board of Directors at the Jesus House.

Mark Braisher, Executive Vice-President at Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College, is also excited about the event.  “We are excited about the new era underway at the Jesus House and we are honored to host this benefit concert.”  Steven Earp, Pastor at Elevate Church, concurred, “We have supported the Jesus House in the past and, with the new direction of the organization, we will renew our support of the Jesus House for the future.”

Elevate Church is a newly formed church in South Oklahoma City.  Elevate Church currently holds its services at Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College in Moore, Oklahoma on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m.
