Galaxy Multi Rides Offers the First Mechanical Bull With IPHONE Controls
Port Charlotte, Florida, October 12, 2011. Robin Whincup, President of Galaxy Multi Rides announced this week that Galaxy is now offering the first mechanical bull to be operated with IPhone Controls. The mechanical bull was done for Litago of Norway. Litago is the manufacturer of flavoured milkshakes.
Robin Whincup, Galaxy’s founder, says, “ The design brief asked for a bull to be created to match the company’s branding and to be able to be controlled remotely via a smart phone. Litago had seen some of the our custom work and decided we were the only company who could turn their dreams in to reality When I saw the design brief I was very excited as this was going to be something very special. Litago wanted to take their bull system on a nation wide tour of Norway, allowing the public to operate the ride from an IPhone. My first concern was for the safety of the rider as we only allow trained operators to run our bulls.”
Robin goes on to say, “We developed the APP to run independently but to be overridden by the standard control console. As the member of the public uses the IPhone to operate the bull, there is a trained operator standing next to them at the standard control console overseeing that the rider has a safe but fun ride.
It is remarkably easy to use the IPhone controller, you just have to remember which is left, right, up & down.”
The Litago promotion has been a huge success so far & continues through to the end of October.
Galaxy has some other exciting custom pieces in the works right now, but declined to elaborate about them before their release.
Located in Port Charlotte, Florida, the company is a family-owned and operated business. Galaxy Multi Rides provides sales of its popular line of amusement games in over 45 countries. Leasing options are also available for special events, promotions, fundraising and community activities.
