WINEormous Founder Tom Plant To Address International Wine Tourism Conference In Perugia, Italy

Murrieta, California, USA -  The International Wine Tourism Conference in Perugia, Italy is scheduled for January 30 to February 2, 2012. Tom Plant, founder of the wine blog WINEormous, was selected as one of 15 bloggers to attend the conference as well as pre and post conference excursions to Italian wineries.

Mr. Plant has also been chosen as a speaker during the conference and will share with attendees the art of telling a story that draws in the reader. The three day conference will feature more than 40 talks, presentations and panel discussions along with several opportunities to sample Italian wines.

Perugia is the capital of Umbria in central Italy and is home to the University of Perugia with a student body numbering 34,000. It is renowned as a hub for culture and arts, fine chocolates and of course, wine.

Mr. Plant left a career in real estate in 2009 to pursue his passion for wine. He is a member of the International Food Wine and Travel Writers Association and has visited and written about wineries across the United States and in Nova Scotia, Canada.
