Success for Osbornes as Legal 500 2011 is launched

On Wednesday 21st September 2011 the independent legal directory “Legal 500” launched its 2011 edition which ranked Osbornes as a recommended firm in three legal practice areas as well as mentioning eight of our solicitors for their expertise.


The family law solicitors department at Osbornes retained its ranking for another year, with the directory commenting that “Osbornes handles complex and challenging cases for the legal aid sector and also a growing stable of wealthy international clients. The firm receives glowing plaudits from clients.”

Specifically mentioned in the directory were head of department Julian Beard described as a solicitor who “knows his stuff”, partner Lisa Pepper who Legal 500 described as “constructive and smiling whatever the challenges” and partner Mark Freedman who was recognised by the directory as being a “tough negotiator”.


Lisa Pepper, who features in the directory for the first time said of the ranking:

Further success was achieved by the Personal Injury Solicitors at Osbornes who were ranked for the first time in the Legal 500. Stuart Kightley, joint head of the department is described as “effective and helpful” and someone who “focuses on the needs of the individual.”
