NTT America’s Michael Wheeler to Present at Carriers Ethernet World in London

VP of NTT America’s Global IP Network will present on 100gE at inaugural, international, exclusive event



WHAT:

Michael Wheeler, vice president of the Global IP Network business unit at NTT America, will deliver a standalone presentation at Carriers Ethernet World titled, “Outlining the Future of 100G Ethernet.” Co-located with the annual Carriers World event, Carriers Ethernet World will unite worldwide leaders in the wholesale carrier industry to examine the Ethernet opportunity.



In his presentation, Wheeler will assess the economics of and timeline for 100gE deployment and provide insight into how the technology will integrate with existing Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems.



WHO:

Wheeler brings more than 15 years of sales management and operational experience in the Internet and data communications industry to NTT America, a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications and a Tier-1 global IP network services provider.



In his current role as vice president, Global IP Network (GIN) at NTT America, Wheeler is responsible for all financial, engineering, operational and customer relationship activities for the business unit. Previously, Wheeler led the sales and business development organization for the GIN Business Unit, including direct sales, account management, indirect channel sales, sales engineering, marketing, product management and business development activities.
