Sri Lanka: Kilinochchi’s number one year five student recognized by Aviva NDB

Senior regional manager, Aviva NDB Insurance, T Sivakumaran, presented a cash gift together with a Higher Education Scholarship certificate to Nishanth Hamsikan of St Theresa Maha Vidyalaya, who was ranked first in Kilinochchi in the year five scholarship examination in 2010. He obtained 175 marks to top the batch.

The company presents scholarship certificates to all the students who top the batch in each of the 25 districts in Sri Lanka. They start receiving the scholarship when they are successful at GCE O/L and enter A/L. The principal and teachers also received certificates of recognition from Aviva NDB Insurance for their commendable role in motivating the student.
