Dumplings Recalled Due to Undeclared Allergen

M&P Food Production Ltd. of Brooklyn, NY recalled 11,000 lbs. of dumplings, because the company did not declare milk, an allergen, on their labels. The U.S. Department of Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced the recall on September 20.
 
The undeclared allergen was discovered during a routine inspection by an FSIS inspector who noticed that although sour cream was added to the dough, the label did not note that milk was an ingredient.
 
The chicken, beef, veal, and pork dumplings in the recall include pouches of “Bapehuku Brand,” “Babushka Brand,” “Russian Brand,” “Siberian Brand,” and “Siberian Style.” As of now, no one has reported an adverse reaction to the food.
