Orange Business Services extends the range of solutions for videoconference and includes Huawei videoconference equipment in the catalogue

WEBWIRE

Paris - Orange Business Services and Huawei, one of the leading ICT solution provider, have signed a partnership to sell videoconferencing equipment for use with Orange’s Open Videopresence service. The partnership between these two major international companies broadens the video solutions offered by Orange Business Services and is driven by the companies’ common goal of developing the videoconferencing market. The devices will be marketed by Orange Business Services and its subsidiary EGT.

Based on the video certification program of the group France Telecom Orange, Huawei’s standard or high definition room systems provide an excellent experience for Orange Business Services’ Open Videopresence customers since they have proven their interoperability with other vendors’ equipment. Huawei’s equipment also opens up videoconferencing to small companies, that often cannot afford huge investment in this field.

Huawei, a well-recognized global company in the videoconferencing market since 1993, manufactures standard and high-definition terminals, multipoint control units and telepresence systems.

Leader in videoconferencing in France, Orange Business Services aspires to rank among the top three in the world by 2015. Making videoconferencing systems easier to use and more interoperable as well as promoting fully-managed services are among the carrier’s priorities.
