Highland Associates Showcases New Website Design

New York, NY.  - Highland Associates, an award winning, multidiscipline firm specializing in Architecture, Engineering and Interior Design, is pleased to announce the launch of its newly re-designed website.  Established in 1988, Highland Associates maintains a staff of over 150 professionals and support personnel with offices in Clarks Summit, Pa. and New York, NY. The firm’s work spans across several market segments including corporate offices, education, healthcare, industrial, mission critical and retail.

The new site embodies the firm’s commitment to design excellence through the use of project imagery, streamlined content and instinctive navigation.  The design was conceived by two of Highland Associates employees - Eric Scott, Architectural Designer and Lauren Suarino, Marketing Coordinator.  Working together, they diligently researched websites taking note of what design elements work well within the context of the architectural and engineering marketplace, content and ease of direction.
 
After months of working with a website programmer and Bridget Goryeb, a Highland Associates Business Developer, the design was brought to life. “Our team is pleased to share a clean and sophisticated site with our clients, vendors and friends,” explains Lauren Suarino, one of the sites designers. "In a digital world the website represents a company’s image and is the first impression given,” states Ms. Suarino.  
 
“Our intent is to express who Highland Associates is and to represent what we do as a multidiscipline architecture and engineering firm,” says architect Eric Scott, co-site designer.  “We’ve designed the website around graphics so that it’s pleasing to look at and easy to navigate, but also shows off our broad range of projects.  We hope that visitors enjoy navigating through the site as much as we enjoyed designing it" emphasizes Mr. Scott.
 
Some of the unique features of the re-designed site include FTP access for clients to easily upload and retrieve information related to projects; an “On the Boards” menu tab, allowing users to catch a glimpse of some upcoming projects and links to publications where the firm’s work has been showcased.  In addition, Highland Associates recognizes new media as a positive and useful tool for interaction, communication and information, visitors to the site can easily access links to Highland Associates’ blogs and social media sites.
 
The goal with this re-design is to convey the firm’s mission, services and dedication to quality design in each of our disciplines.  The flexible framework upon which this site has been built will allow it to grow as the firm evolves and adds new projects, new clients, new employees and new services.
