Delphi to Announce New Products, as well as Diagnostics and Services Support Expansion at 2011 Equip’Auto Show

PARIS — Delphi will unveil new products and services at the 2011 Equip’Auto Show in Paris, France on Tuesday October 11, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. during its in-booth (Hall 6, N066) press conference held by Lúcia Veiga Moretti, president, Delphi Product & Service Solutions (DPSS) and Gaël Escribe, vice president, independent aftermarket, Delphi Product & Service Solutions, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

This announcement will include the launch of its new diesel particulate filters, further first-to-market braking and thermal expansion initiatives, the recent nomination of two products, the Delphi fuel analyser and vehicle sound generator (VSG), for the 2011 Equip’Auto Innovation Awards, and the Interauto 2011 Auto Part Award, an exhibition held in Moscow, Russia, for its steering and suspension ball joints. In addition to these announcements, further news will also be revealed at the press conference.

*New diesel particulate filters (DPF) feature a filtration and regeneration process to help in the reduction of CO2 emissions. Delphi is offering a direct fit system with OE quality filter, as well as a complete service support programme for the aftermarket.
*Delphi braking system expansion initiatives focus on today’s modern vehicles including 260 new parts numbers in stock now, many first to market, and an additional 150 parts planned for the fourth quarter 2011.
*Delphi will launch 36 new heating and air conditioning parts to the aftermarket, bringing its total car parc coverage close to 100 percent. The range extension includes compressors, radiators, charge air coolers and condensers.

The new Delphi products and services on display during the exhibition will cover vehicle electronics, thermal, diagnostics, steering and suspension, braking, diesel and training services. Delphi engineers will demonstrate the latest diesel and aftermarket products, diagnostics and training, as well as explain the enhanced level of support it’s providing to its growing network of Delphi Service Centres.
