David Levitt Named Vice President of Health Information Technology Solutions

FALLS CHURCH, Va., – CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that David Levitt has been named vice president of health information technology solutions (HITS) for its North American Public Sector (NPS) Health Services Division. Levitt will be responsible for developing new business with key federal health agencies and positioning CSC as a leader in providing new systems necessary to implement the reforms required by the Affordable Care Act.

“David has developed and grown several major accounts with key agencies over the years and has earned the trust and respect of clients and colleagues alike,” said Alisoun Moore, vice president and general manager for CSC’s North American Public Sector Health Services Division. “His health IT experience has proven to be invaluable in our efforts to deliver health IT solutions to our clients.”

Levitt has over 30 years of experience with CSC and served most recently as the account director for the HITS business unit, including collaborations with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense Health Affairs, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and other federal agencies requiring healthcare-related IT support, such as the Department of Labor. He has also contributed to the business unit’s wins of several critical engagements in healthcare, not least of which was the Development Effort Consolidation Contract (DECC), a major modernization project within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Levitt holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in physics from the University of Maryland and a juris doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law.
