September is rugby month. and renault is in the game!

WEBWIRE

The back-to-school period will be dominated by rugby. The seventh Rugby World Cup begins on 9 September in the “land of the long white cloud”, otherwise known as New Zealand. Renault, committed to the French national team for nearly four years, will be in the front row to encourage, support and celebrate the French players’ adventure down under.

Renault is inspired by the values inherent to rugby such as commitment, solidarity, fair play, rigor and friendliness. The company has for three years now been producing limited edition models dedicated to the “XV de France” and based on quality “approved by the national team”. And so it was duty bound to do its very best for this event. The brand is continuing its rugby adventure in September with a rugby-themed campaign featuring ambassadors from the French squad, Imanol Harinordoquy, Morgan Parra and Sylvain Marconnet.

The campaign kicks off on September 3 with TV broadcasts of 30- and 45-second films. Directed by Pedro Romhnayi (Smile Unlimited) and orchestrated by Publicis Dialog, the ads comically show just how far (too far?!) the network is prepared to go in its support for rugby.

The large-scale campaign is comprehensively multimedia, distributed via print, radio, TV screen inserts and web. Renault will also be organizing local events to encourage the public to find out about special offers, “ovalies”, and additional deals on a number of models, together with rugby games and gifts.

Renault is 100% ready to get right into the heart of the rugby action!
