Unisys to Enhance Operations by Consolidating Service Supply Chain Logistics with DHL

BLUE BELL, Pa., – Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS) today announced that it has selected DHL as its global lead provider for service parts logistics. Under the agreement, Unisys will consolidate movement and repair of equipment parts from more than 100 providers into a comprehensive solution, managed by DHL, that will benefit clients to whom Unisys provides technology support and maintenance services.



Unisys anticipates that the relationship with DHL will enable the company to streamline delivery of those services further over the life of the agreement, which has a term of up to seven years, while increasing benefits to customers.

Unisys anticipates that the agreement with DHL can help further the company’s long-term operational objectives: a more variable cost structure, improved operational efficiency and reduced overhead costs.



DHL has provided services for Unisys since 1997 and currently handles service parts logistics for Unisys in Australia, some parts of Europe and most of Latin America. The new contract will now utilize DHL services across Europe; in both North and South America; and the Middle East and Africa, as well as the Asia Pacific region.
