Net Insight signs frame agreement with Norkring in Norway

Net Insight and Norkring have signed a frame agreement regarding delivery of equipment for the transport network in the digital terrestrial TV network (DTT) in Norway. The agreement is subject to that NTV (Norway´s Television AS) receives the concession and selects Norkring to build and operate the Norwegian DTT network. The frame agreement implies a delivery of approximately 400-700 of Net Insight´s Nimbra nodes during 2-3 years.

Norkring AS delivers infrastructure and network services to premier broadcasters. The company has nation-wide transmission networks for television and radio and is owned by Telenor ASA.

Net Insight has, among others, built the digital terrestrial TV networks in the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland and Germany. Net Insight´s Nimbra platform enables maximum utilization of the network as well as guarantees 100% quality of service in all transported traffic with significantly lower CAPEX and OPEX.
