The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards show brand was created in 1992 to be the financial mechanism to build the Museum. This will be the first broadcast of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards since it aired in National Syndication and on the BET Cable Network in the 1990’s. That show featured the Induction of Run DMC with Jam Master Jay an original Board Member, the God-father of Hip Hop Kool Herc, the Zulu Nation, Kool DJ Red Alert, and Grandmaster Flash to name a few.
