NCR Names Bruce Langos as Vice President of Global Operations

DAYTON, Ohio – NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) today announced that Bruce Langos has been named to the newly created position of vice president of global operations for the company, effective May 29, 2006.

A 30-year veteran of NCR, Langos will oversee all operational functions across the company worldwide, and will design and implement programs that strengthen the company’s processes and increase efficiency.

Langos, reporting to President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Nuti, will also lead the company’s sales support and order management functions.

“This position demonstrates that we are extremely focused on improving our productivity and building a sustainable competitive cost structure, particularly in the areas of supply-chain efficiency, order management and field sales automation,” said Nuti. “Given his many years in delivering outstanding results to the company, Bruce is an excellent fit to lead initiatives that ensure our operations are as efficient and effective as possible.”

Langos joined the company in 1976 and has held positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, Langos served as vice president of business operations of the company’s Teradata Division where he oversaw the division’s order, supply-line management and procurement processes, and intellectual property portfolio.

Langos was also vice president of corporate real estate, overseeing the major initiative to align NCR’s global real estate holdings with the company’s current business needs.
