EasySecured Software today launched the latest version of myCloudKey, an online identity service for internet users
EasySecured Software & Services Ltd (ESS Ltd.) a company based in Mumbai, India states that it has launched a new version of its online identity service, myCloudkey.
The earlier version of myCloudKey offered only automatic password generation for different websites using its patent pending password less authentication technology.
The latest version offers automatic password generation as well as password management. This means, online users need to remember only a Master Key to access all their accounts.
The service offers the unique lock / unlock feature using which users can restrict access to their accounts even if someone were to know the Access Key. And the Master Key comes locked to a device they own.
“myCloudKey v2.0 is a major enhancement over the previous version”, said Gurudatt Shenoy, CEO and Chairman, ESS Ltd. “It is a professional release even though it is still under beta.”
With the current version, ESS Ltd. also brings to the market a paid version of the service. Most online users can register their first account for FREE and those who wish to register a second account on the same device will require paying a license fee of $9.99 or Rs 500/- per account.
Further, users can lock their account only to two devices for free and will require paying $1.99 or Rs 100 per additional devices.
This could be useful for business users who own multiple cell phones and devices and would like to register different accounts for business and personal access.
The company states that it will keep improvising the service as the product moves from beta to final version in the foreseeable future.
And it is also developing an enterprise version of this service that can be integrated with websites and portals as also online applications.
Also in works is an iPhone and Android App with future releases.
