The 17.94 m long Citaro G is able to transport up to 150 passengers. This makes the vehicle ideal for heavily frequented routes and peak-time services on main transport routes. Its low-floor design along its entire length, its stepless entrances and exits and its four wide doors enable swift boarding and alighting for passengers. For persons with restricted mobility, the bus offers space for two wheelchairs. The vehicles are additionally equipped with video monitoring. The Mercedes Benz articulated buses are powered by the Mercedes Benz OM 457 (h)LA engine rated at 260 kW (354 hp). The vehicles are EEV- (Enhanced Environmentally Friendly Vehicle) compliant in accordance with the Euro V emissions standard. The Mercedes Benz Citaro G employs the proven Electronic Brake System (EBS) in conjunction with the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Acceleration Skid Control (ASR). Disc brakes on all wheels and independent wheel suspension at the front are standard.
