Zurich and Santander sign definitive agreements on long-term alliance in Latin America

Zurich – Zurich Financial Services Group (Zurich) announced that it has signed definitive agreements with Banco Santander SA (Santander) to enter into a long-term alliance in Latin America. Scope, structure and key financial terms are materially unchanged from what was announced on February 22, 2011. The parties expect to close the transaction before the end of the year, subject to the receipt of regulatory approvals.
