Rodney Lough Jr. Partners with Boys & Girls Clubs of SF Bay for Charity Event

(San Francisco, California – July 15, 2011) — Rodney Lough Jr., world-renowned Master Landscape Photographer is proud to announce the opening of his newest gallery in the heart of San Francisco. The Rodney Lough Jr. Wilderness Collections Gallery is hosting a grand opening celebration planned for Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 8-11 pm.

Rodney is working in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of SF Bay to celebrate the opening of the largest fine art photography gallery in San Francisco. For this special evening, six SF bay clubs have teamed together for one night under the name of Boys & Girls Clubs of SF Bay to celebrate the beginning of what they expect to be a long partnership with each other and Rodney Lough Jr. The charity event will take place from 8-11 pm on Saturday, August 6, 2011 and is free and open to the public. It will feature music, auctions, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and other live performances. A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of SF Bay.

Rodney has been selected as the celebrity endorser of the new Boys & Girls Clubs initiative “Full STEAM Ahead”. The program aims to reduce the academic achievement gap in schools by integrating Arts into the well-known STEM programs (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). The concept originated with Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley and has now spread to other clubs in the bay area with Rodney’s involvement.
