New York, NY, July 14, 2011- LocalResponse, the first social advertising platform that aggregates public posts and “check-ins” across multiple platforms to help brands and local businesses reach their customers, today shares its first major brand campaign results across a leading automobile manufacturer, a consumer packaged goods manufacturer, and a fashion retailer.

“These campaigns represent the first few of dozens in the pipeline this year, and their statistics are representative of the campaigns we’ve run thus far,” says Kathy Leake, President of LocalResponse. “The click-through and redemption rates we’re seeing from these campaigns are truly remarkable. I think we are seeing this performance because we are providing marketers with the opportunity to respond with contextual offers to public check-ins in real-time, via mobile ”

LocalResponse worked with a leading automobile manufacturer to target consumers checking-in on Twitter, Foursquare, Gowalla, Instagram, Flickr, and dozens more, at and around events hosted by the brand. This led to a drive in consumer engagement on the client’s mobile website and an increase in the brand’s following on Twitter. With the delivery of an extraordinary 22% click-through rate (CTR), the client saw a 10% increase in Twitter followers over the 3-day campaign, while 58% of clickers converted to their mobile website. The 22% CTR is almost 100x what traditional online banners are seeing today (source: iMedia).

LocalResponse partnered with a major CPG to send in-store coupons to consumers and brand enthusiasts expressing positive sentiment via Twitter, prompting massive point-of-purchase redemption. This campaign saw a 15% CTR and a 60% post-click redemption rate.

A major fashion retailer partnered with LocalResponse to drive foot traffic and participation at the grand opening event for a new retail location. As a secondary execution, LocalResponse also utilized the viral nature of Twitter to turn consumers into word-of-mouth marketers for the brand. Click-through rates increased over 200% during the course of the campaign as a result of consumers actively retweeting the offer, effectively taking the execution viral. The client also saw a 40% redemption rate while only 0.1% of targeted users opted-out of the advertising.
