CMT First Country Music Festival In Canada From August 26 to 28th 2011

The first CMT Country Music Festival ever in Canada will be taking place from August 26-28, 2011. It is anticipated that this will be the first of many CMT festivals in Canada.

Burl’s Creek Park will be hosting the CMT Country Music Festival. What is unique about this Park is it is the Park that inspired the idea for 13Thirteen Entertainment, the company that is now hosting the event. It is the best outdoor live music event site in all of Canada and hosted music stars before such as Toby Keith. CMT Festival is excited that Burl’s Creek Park is hosting them.

CMT Country Music Festival organizer Kit Andrew said in an online interview:“I’ll tell you, I can speak to the fact that I’m very excited to be bringing the caliber of artists that we’re bringing, Nashville artists as well as some Canadian artists. I think the country music sector in Canada is growing at a furious pace, and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

The artist playing at the CMT Festival in Canada include Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum and Ronnie Dunn, and Blake Shelton from “The Voice” will be playing. Mr. Andrews stated:“It was absolutely important to get the right artists on the bill in order to even announce the show, so sort of the order of operations from a talent-buying perspective, the first thing was to lock up our Rascal Flatts, Ronnie Dunn, Lady Antebellum. We are glad they chose to join us.”
