Ally Bank ’perks’ up its debit card with new reward program

Ally Perks offers money back automatically when customers use their Interest Checking Debit Card on qualifying purchases

MIDVALE, Utah – Along with its existing platform of customer-friendly, easy-to-manage banking products, Ally Bank is now offering a debit rewards program: Ally Perks. This new reward program is available for customers with Ally’s Interest Checking Debit Card.

By making a qualifying purchase at Ally Perks merchants using their Ally Bank checking debit card, customers receive money back to their account automatically. There are no points to track or redeem.

“Ally Perks lets customers enjoy their purchases and not worry about tracking or redeeming the points they may have earned,” said Diane Morais, Ally deposits executive. “Customers can instead focus on saving the cash they get back through this new program.”

Current merchants range from national lifestyle and athletic apparel chains, to consumer electronics retailers and casual dining restaurants, with more to be added over time.

Customers can view the latest offers when they log in to their Ally Bank account or receive e-mail alerts letting them know when new offers are available. Customers can choose to have their Ally Perks money back deposited to their Ally Bank checking, savings or money market account.
