Warner/Chappell UK Appoints Clara Goldsmith As Head Of Creative Marketing

Warner/Chappell, the global publishing arm of Warner Music Group, today announced the appointment of Clara Goldsmith as Head of Creative Marketing, UK. In this newly created role, Goldsmith will oversee the promotion of Warner/Chappell UK’s extensive back catalogue as well as the management and development of the standard repertoire. Reporting to Mike Sault, Director of A&R, Warner/Chappell UK, Goldsmith will be responsible for identifying and establishing new marketing platforms, brand partnerships and cross media opportunities that extend the usage of Warner/Chappell administered music.

Goldsmith joins Warner/Chappell from the Arts Council where she was Head of National Marketing. While there she orchestrated successful campaigns to increase participation in the arts, including through collaborations with the BBC and the National Trust. Previously she served as Director of Strategic Development at Empire Artist Management, where she played a role in the careers of artists such as Lily Allen, Natasha Bedingfield and The Feeling, both in the UK and internationally. She also managed Empire’s brand partnerships division and oversaw campaigns involving a wide range of brands such as Nokia, Dolce & Gabbana, Nike, Burberry, T-Mobile and L’Oreal. Goldsmith’s prior experience included working as Marketing Manager for both Virgin Records and Relentless/Outcaste Records.
